Keeping Cool

With temperatures of over 30C last week and extremely humid weather it has been a challenge to keep cool.
At work we are lucky to have very efficient air conditioning system but you still get hot travelling to and from the office. During the evenings and at weekend I can at least dress more appropriately for the conditions and I was lucky to buy this skirt recently in a charity shop for £3.50.

It is in a very pale shade of green and almost ankle length. The cotton material  has two lace like effect decorative bands and it is ideal for the current weather conditions.

My top is in my favorite turquoise colour  and has been in my wardrobe for several years. I think it goes well with my new to me skirt.

Are you coping well in the heat wave?

  1. Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. This outfit is a great interpretation of the lingerie style. I like that you paired the skirt with a turquoise top.

  4. The color of this top is lovely but I'm curious is this you in the picture? If so, how do you reconcile your modesty standard that doesn't allow you to wear pants without a tunic to cover your rear and crotch area with wearing a top this revealing with a push up bra? I personally can't equate modesty in any form with this much cleavage. Just my perspective........
