Winter Woollies

We have now had our first frosts here in the UK and I thought I would do a quick post on my latest charity shop find which is ready for the cold weather which is now with us.

This woolly is quite snug and warm and the grey and black goes well with a number of my skirts and trousers. It cost me £3.50 but I should get a lot of wear out of it during the next three or four months. I need to get a few more woollies as my winter wardrobe needs restocking after I took a lot of my older winter clothes to the charity shop during the summer.

Have you bought any new winter clothes recently?

  1. This looks so cozy, and stripes are great! I have a new-to-me gray sweater this year that I hope to wear for Thanksgiving. :)

  2. I love that you call your sweaters woolies! <3 I think I will adopt that term. I am a big fan of sweaters - I would wear them all year if it weren't too warm. :-) ~L

    1. Thank you Paige - we had an American student on work experience in the office this week and we discussed differences in our language. I will post on it soon.

  3. What a cute piece! I love the stripes.

  4. That looks like such a cosy knit! :)

Every year I'm always on the hunt for more winter woolies - I have a large collection but at the start of the season always want more, ha! Luckily it's spring here, nearly summer! So it's all packed away until next year :)
