Another post on a dress I bought last summer. This is because my charity shop trips have been curtailed this week by a bad cold. I didn't do a post on this dress at the time as I spotted a flaw in my tights after the photo was taken! I have managed to crop it out to save my embarrassment.
The dress cost £4.00 but I have not worn it that much as I am not that keen on the design of the shoulders. I do like the floral pattern though and I may give it another try when the weather warms up.
What do you think?
Oh, I must say this dress is lovely!!! The floral feminine with a kiss of elegance...something I would very much wear.

DeleteOh, this dress is so pretty and such a great find. Perhaps you could trim off a bit of the shoulders and sew them under to make this more like a classic sheath dress?
ReplyDeleteThank you for your suggestion - I may give it a go!
DeleteThat dress is so pretty! I would try a blazer over top or have a tailor just make it a sleeveless dress!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty dress! I think that is why I get nervous of taking pictures of my clothes! I am glad you were able to crop it out!

If you don't like the shoulder ruffles, why don't you just snip it all off with a pair of very sharp shears. It's a pretty floral. Thanks for joining us on My Refined Style!
